He came to my place so that we could settle some preparations over here
I haven’t received my greens yet so, I was 100% funded by my future husband
We were always out of the house because we didn’t want to disturb the wedding preparation of that person at the house but in the end, I found out that he/she spread that we overshadowed things. * I was like WHAT?!!
Well, forget about that ungrateful person.
So, I made full use of the 4 days to show him around SP but of course our favourite spots were the malls
Basically, we ate, walked, discussed and rushed here and there. When we were back at home, we helped the people (basically they were only my mum and kak da) at home to prepare the goodies. We couldn’t bear to see them struggling by themselves.
The next day (Wednesday) , we had our pre-wed photoshoot. My stepbrother and his wife were so supportive and brought us to various spots so that we could take pictures with different sceneries. Unfortunately, as I was not that photogenic so most pictures didn’t turn out well. *Sorry, fiance!
Nevertheless, here were some of the shots that worth to be embedded in this blog.
And on the last day before he went back, we went to Sunway Carnival earlier just to unwind ourselves. Surprise…surprise…we ended up entering this outlet and he said that he wanted to give me the winter coat and the boots as an early birthday present as it would be another couple of weeks before I would fly to UK. I was beyond excited but at the same time feeling guilty. But, I just could not say no to such tempting offer.
Dad expected us to depart a bit later to the airport but somehow, I decided to go earlier. Some were questioning me why didn’t I go to the person’s solemnation. Well, since no one could send my fiancé so, I was the only one responsible for him. Thus, we left SP but with a little body guard accompanying us. We had three hours before boarding time and since I had checked him in earlier, so we took the opportunity to spend some time at Queensbay Mall. Our stop was the restaurant and DAISO…my favourite shop!
After sending him to the airport, and experiencing a minor hiccup finding way back to Penang Bridge, the little bodyguard and I were finally on our way back to SP. I was told that the solemnation only started at the same time as my fiancé boarded (So, luckily I trusted my instinct and didn’t waste time waiting for nothing). Indeed, holidays in March were meaningful and it made my UK trip worth every penny!
That’s all for now. Maybe in the next post I’ll talk about UK trip or maybe other things that come up in my life. Au revoir!
p/s: Please pray that everything goes well for my upcoming wedding and life after that
