Today is the day that the cat,which was initially called “Cobain”, will have me as the new owner. Mummy disliked his previous name because she said, “Nanti kurus cam cicak kobeng”. Therefore, she opted for Boboboy ( sounds familiar right?haha if you watch TV3, you’ll surely know)

Boboboy (BBB)is actually the only offspring that resembled my late Shadow in terms of the colour of fur (when I gave away Chiko, she was pregnant with Shadow & Roxy’s babies) and is available to be adopted. I guess that I still can’t get over Shadow and even having something of his would be sufficient to ease my heart ache.

Unfortunately, BBB is not really in a good shape. He is having a terrible running nose. I pitied him because when he slept in his cage, I could hear his difficult breathing which was audible throughout the entire living room. I pitied him even more when I sent him to the vet because he got like 5 shots of drugs and he cried painfully when the doctor inserted water into his body. He is so fragile and still young to be suffering like that.

I really hope BBB will have a fast recovery. In fact, tonight I get to play doctor because I was asked to give two “simple” shots with my own bare hands. (God, please help me! I know I used to dream of being a vet but it was then! What a challenge.) However, I will gather my guts for him. Seeing BBB sleeping without the terrible sound is such a relief. Can’t wait to see him get active.
