My Water Moments in Redang

On 14th May 2010, I have taken part in a trip to Terengganu with UiTM D-Link IPGaya & IPKB Cohort 4 for an educational trip. So, the aim was to do a research in a few schools in Kuala Terengganu and contribute ourselves for a community work in SK Redang while having a good, relaxing and enjoyable sight seeing at Redang Island and Sekayu Waterfall. For this entry I would like to focus on my snorkeling experience at the Marine Park Centre, Redang Island, Terengganu.

So, you see...I am a person who likes water so much and I have been dreaming to engrave the memories I would be experiencing in pictures. Yes, I bought a camera on February but it seemed that the price for a waterproof camera was out of my budget. Thus, before the trip, I have been saving to buy a waterproof case for my fragile and precious cammy, Olympus mju 1070. I invested on an Aquapac waterproof case to ensure I can make half of my dreams come true.

Coming back to my trip, the snorkeling activity was a blast. I was awed by the beauty of God's creation. Using the Aquapac was quite challenging because it was my first time usage. So, I just took and snapped without having the chance to look at the pictures due to the difficulty to see the images in the LCD under the bright lighting. So, here were some of them.

As you can see, these pictures I took were kind of hazy and the colour pigments of the entities in them were not clear. What I have seen with my bare eyes were so much better and breath-taking. I even had the experience of forgetting to breathe through the J-tube and caused me to nearly choke myself for lacking of oxygen.

Seeing those pictures, I really wish I can have a waterproof camera on my own. I've been to Low Yatt Plaza before and spotted some advertisements on Sony TX5. Wow! What a catch! Based on the specifications and picture previews, I believe the pictures I have taken CAN BE better, clearer, more memorable and have no limits with that kind of camera.

These are the pictures that I might have captured IF ONLY I have Sony TX5 on my trip to Redang Island.

As previewed above, you can notice the difference of quality that a real water-proof camera can provide as compared to relying to a mere water-proof case like Aquapac.

So, what is really special about Sony TX5 that makes me want to put my hands on it so much?
Basically as we can refer to http://www.sony.com.my/product/dsc-tx5 , this camera has the features that can make a traveler who loves sight-seeing as me to capture all the moments that are worth to be cherished without any hesitation.

Admit it! This camera is worth having and should I had it before, I am sure it can Intensify my whole experience in the water and giving life to the pictures I take.

Undeniably, I would love to have this cammy in my list of possessions if I can have the chance. As a recap, my water moments in Redang was not too bad and severe but having a GOOD camera would definitely make my trip better. I hope for my next snorkeling trip, I can have Sony TX5 as my perfect companion ;)
